ABOUT

DAVID OLDENBURG

David Oldenburg is a photographer and creative director who does not merely photograph the world — he builds one.

Born in Bulgaria, based in London, working worldwide. His work spans fashion, luxury, music and culture, appearing on the covers and pages of Vogue Arabia, ELLE, GQ Japan, Paper Magazine, Schön and Gay Times, with portrait and campaign projects featuring Yasmin Finney, Teyana Taylor, Keke Palmer, Iggy Azalea and Latto - selected works distributed through Universal Music Group & Universal Poland. Entirely self-taught and entirely self-contained — photography, CGI production, 3D modelling, retouching, colour grading and art direction built into a single unbroken vision from concept to final image. Commercial clients include H&M, Mowalola and Talisker.

Oldenburg occupies a space few image-makers can claim — where mythology meets contemporary culture, where the underground becomes luxurious and the luxurious becomes dangerous. His images carry a dual citizenship: fluent in the language of subculture and music, yet meeting the exacting standards of the world's leading fashion brands and publications. Ancient archetypes rendered in the vocabulary of now. A complete visual universe, built entirely by one hand. Years spent in luxury retail and visual merchandising sharpened an instinct for how aesthetics function as a brand language — precise, considered, and built to last.
